Where Diversity Thrives and Leaders Come Alive
RedHead Communications is a boutique training and consulting firm specialising in cultural competence, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development. We help middle managers and executives leverage DEI strategies to strengthen workplace culture and spark innovation. Through our workshops, keynote presentations, coaching, and tailored programs, we enable organisations to improve cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication — key steps toward stronger collaboration and conflict management.

Meet Our Team

Dr Tanya Finnie
Director
Tanya Finnie has always been an explorer and avid traveler. She is curious about culture and human behaviour and completed her PhD in Cultural Leadership.
She was born in South Africa, but lived several years in Namibia, Germany, Zimbabwe and shorter terms in a variety of other countries, before calling Australia home. Her graduate Certificate was in Adult learning and Education and use that underlying knowledge to shape the learning with a strong flavour of application and practice.

Jessica Ulangkaya
Marketing and Business Development Coordinator
Jessica joined our team in 2024 as a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. With a Business Degree and over three years of digital marketing experience, she brings creativity and strategy to every project. She is also contributing to the Diversity and Inclusion Summit 2025 while managing content creation and marketing campaigns. Outside work, she loves exploring new places, journaling ideas, and documenting daily moments—from outfits to coffee adventures. Ask her about the latest social media trends, and you’ll always get an inspired answer!

Lucky
Office Doggo
Lucky, though slightly more mature, is still full of bounce and quite keen to meet new people. He does not own a TV nor care about commercial advertising, but is always keen to pose for an action shot for social media. Lucky is a great listener and an even better snorer. He loves the water and dreams about buying a catamaran when he retires. Lucky’s name is directly related to his zest for life as he was adopted from a euthanasia list, though did not originally landed there by choice. Prefers sleeping on the job.

Khaya
Office Pup
Khaya is a Gen Alpha ‘employee’. Since his start at RedHead, he has been the Alpha pushing everyone around by simply batting his eyelids. More into technology and a big fan of TV, especially ‘Hotel for Dogs’. His name stems from the Xhosa (South African Bantu Nguni people) language meaning ‘Home’ but also sounds the same than the Noongar (Australian Indigenous) word ‘Kaya’, meaning ‘Hello’. Still finding his perfect work style, he is a combination of fluff and personality.
